Design is more than making things look pretty
I started out in design because I loved making things look good. I stayed because I realised I loved figuring out how things should work. These days my work sits somewhere between design leadership, UX/UI, brand systems and creative operations - part designer, part translator, part fixer of messy processes.
Outside of work, I teach and perform aerials, dabble in photography and stay close to creative spaces that are physical, expressive and human. That mix of structure and movement influences a lot of how I work: I care about clarity, rhythm, trust, and building systems that help people feel more confident in what they’re doing.
